About Breanne Kallonen

Hi! I’m Breanne!

I am a mom of two, a wife and a Naturopathic Medical Intern at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. I love spending time with my family, being outdoors and empowering families to achieve optimal health and vitality. I believe in a holistic approach and a collaborative, supportive healthcare relationship. My mission is to advocate and educate through knowledgeable and trustworthy perspectives on health and wellness.

Professional Background:

I decided at a young age that I would be a mom and a doctor. While many believed both were not possible, I decided it was and did both simultaneously. I studied Biomedical Sciences (H.BSc) at the University of Guelph and my passion for medicine exploded. I completed the MCAT examination, was very proud of my score and started applying to conventional medical schools.

At the same time, I became pregnant with my first baby. For the first time in my life, I was responsible for the health of another human being. I started questioning everything that entered my body and wanted more information on healthy lifestyle and nutrition choices. I wanted to find the best options available for general health, pregnancy, birth and children. I wanted natural, safe and effective treatment options when needed. I wanted honest, compassionate, collaborative care.

I quickly realized conventional medicine did not offer this. I then discovered Naturopathic Medicine – an intimate, integrative, comprehensive approach to healthcare. I can’t WAIT for you to have the same “aha” moment and make serious health shifts in your life.

If you are looking to feel better, to get answers to your health questions and to have safe and effective solutions for your health concerns, I can help. I provide integrative medicine and new ways of thinking about health that are different from what conventional medicine can offer.
